Student Alumni Association
Board of Directors (SAA-BoD)
Student Alumni Association members have the opportunity for leadership development through membership on the Student Alumni Association's Board of Directors (SAA-BOD). The SAA-BOD organizes a wide-range of activities including Dinner with 12 Panthers, Panther Welcome & Homecoming Events, Founder’s Day, Athletic Nights, Football Tailgates, and SAA Appreciation events like the SAA Welcome Back BBQ. We provide activities that connect students and alumni as well as enhance school spirit both on and off-campus for Panthers everywhere!
SAA Mission and Purpose
The mission of the Student Alumni Association is to unite current students with alumni in a manner that creates strong values, pride, and traditions for both students and alumni of Georgia State University.
The purpose of the Student Alumni Association of Georgia State University is to increase school spirit, to foster awareness of issues pertaining to the University community, to advance networking opportunities between alumni and students and to cultivate leadership skills in students.
